"I had such a horrible experience at another Caliber Collision further south of Richmond. My car had minor damage, but it took a month and some weeks to get my car back--that's not to mention my rental car was reported and repossessed because of the amount of time my car was in the shop. The max on my rental coverage was reached. My car was a total loss, although I knew it was not. Long story short, I got my car back, and there was still issues with the mechanics inside the car. The passenger door didn't lock, and window did not work. Either way, after work I went to the nearest caliber collision, and was greeted by Tyrell. He was a good guy and very hospitable. He explained to me that I should go in and speak to Crystal, who was just amazing and swiftly multitasking. She called Jose, the technician who should have left but has the understanding that no customer should be left feeling the way I was feeling. "My insurance company sent me here after my window was broken. They replaced it quickly and kept me updated on the status of the repair. A couple months later, the window broke again due to a manufacturing error, so I asked to come in and they replaced it again on the spot at no charge. They also fixed up a couple other minor things on my car, which I really appreciated. "I gave them five stars, but then took one back. First, let me tell you what makes this body shop great! It's conveniently located in Shirlington (South Arlington) near the DMV and Barcroft Community Center. The on-site Enterprise car rental makes this body shop very convenient, especially if your insurance covers car rental while your car is under repair. You come and have your damaged car inspected, which is pretty fast, and then pick up the pre-ordered rental car from the same office. It takes minutes. The staff is really pleasant to work with. What was disappointing? I brought my car for a rear passenger door dent/scratch repair. They did a pretty good job on fixing the dent, but the door didn't close easily and required more effort; the paint job had minor dust bumps; and the window chrome trim was damaged in repair. It took me four (!) follow-up visits to get those problems fixed. In the end, all issues were addressed, the door now closes without much effort, and the dust bump was removed with simple buffing, the chrome trim was replaced with a new one. But it could all be done at once, without me having to call them and come back so many times. I hope they get better at attention to details, because the people who work there are very nice and are responsive."
"I drove by this shop this morning; never been there and I had no appointment but the shop looked
clean, inviting and well organized. I had an emblem which had fallen off
my car trunk after the brush roller in a car wash knocked it off.
The office worker here asked me to be seated and she took my emblem to the work area. After a few minutes, a shop worker came out with my emblem buffed up like new and replaced it on my trunk lid. When I went to the desk to pay, they said no charge! I even offered to buy lunch for the worker for what he did for me and they wouldn't take my money.

"After someone hit our car, MetLife directed us to Caliber for an estimate and repair. I bough the car in at the appointed time and met with Rachel to go over the damage. She phoned later that day with the estimate, and the probable date for completion of the work. I received daily updates of the progress and the car was completed as promised. When I picked up the car, it looked and smelled brand new, cleaner then when I bought it. In finalizing the paperwork, there was a problem with the deductable, which Rachel got on the phone with MetLife and solved immediately. Her professionalism showed throughout the process, and was very helpful in any and all questions and concerns that I had. Caliber is lucky to have someone like her as a representative of their organization. Great work-thank you." - Steve
