"Repair work done perfectly. I can't tell where it's been fixed. It took a while, though, and I had to phone a few times to check status. In the end they fixed a few things that I didn't expect (good) but forgot to reconnect the rear number plate lights (bad). Not worth docking a star for that, though! "Imagine a brand new Mazda CX-5 your new car, first one in 15 years. Then your family vacation in Tahoe the last day of the vacation and pine cones drop on your beautiful car denting the roof, the hood, the fender. I was so upset. My insurance company gave me a few names and I chose Caliber Collision 123 California Street Burlingame and thank goodness I did!! Alexis the manager... AMAZING, saw how upset I was and reassured me everything would be fine! I saw my beautiful car and it was back to the original way I bought it! Alexis told be to bring the car back in two weeks and her team would wax my car so it would look brand new! Lucky I did because I got another scratch on my car! "Hands down the best experience I've had with an auto body shop! We have 3 cars and have dealt with our share of car repairs, so I've had plenty of experience to draw from. First off, they are very honest and reliable. they share their rates with you up front (so you don't need to worry if you are being ripped off or how great your negotiating skills are). There are clear rates for paying out of pocket vs going through insurance, with a break down of what exactly your are paying for (instead of just 1 big bill). We had to get our van trunk replaced and the invoice had line items for every part and associated labor job. Customer service was awesome and professional. WITHOUT ME ASKING, the manager, Alexis, shared the most cost effective options to fixing my car and guided me on the best decision - even on whether I should reach out to my insurance. She spend more time calling to get used parts to save me money, where in the past mechanics provided me 2 options: fix existing part or replace directly from OEM/Honda. Since they are part of a national org, the communication via email, text, and phone follow-up was great. No chasing down from me! Finally, Alexis - the manager of this branch was the icing on the cake. She is honest and simply goes above and beyond. After getting my car fixed, I told her I want to install a bike rack. Even though this doesn't directly help her business, she called up Honda, found out what kind of rack would work, looked up cheaper alternatives and called me back just to make my life easier. She even offered to install the bike rack (knowing its easy for them and not so easy for us). "I went to get an estimate for some damage on the side of my car (a scrape from an underground grocery store parking lot column - no dent just paint) and while it would have been very expensive to remove the panels and have the whole thing redone, they were able to run the white paint marks off and save me tons of money! They were so kind and helpful, I really recommend them for anyone who is looking for polite professional service. Thanks!"
