Caliber Combines With AbraGet Updates

At Caliber Collision, we believe it’s our duty to support the heroes, who put their lives on the line for our country, after they come back home. That’s why we proudly participate in the National Auto Body Council’s Recycled Rides program all year long – focusing on military service members.

This program was created to gift deserving armed forces members and their families a newly refurbished vehicle, so they have one less obstacle to overcome as they return to civilian life. We believe our nation’s heroes shouldn’t have to worry how they are going to get to work, to see the doctor, or simply to get their groceries home. A new automobile can put an end to these hardships.

Our auto body technicians donate their own time, outside of work hours, to repair and restore donated vehicles to a safe, like-new condition for the recipients. Many of our teammates are former military members themselves and are excited to pay it forward to those who also served our country.

Around this year’s Veteran’s Day alone, we’ve gifted more than 20 automobiles to deserving veterans, making our total more than 70 vehicles in 2018. And in the five years we’ve participated in the program, we’ve restored and gifted over 300 total vehicles total.

To make the giftings even more special, we host special unveiling ceremonies for the military service members, their friends and family. We also take donations for helping the recipients with the future costs of owning and operating their vehicles.

We’d like to thank our partners – GEICO, Progressive, Allstate and Travelers for helping make these Recycled Rides events possible and we’re looking forward to honoring more heroes with new rides in 2019 and for years to come.
